DESCRIPTION:\nLearn to 3d print with the most popular 3d printing technology in the market!\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nIn this two-hours workshop you will learn how to use a FDM 3D printer. This technology allows you to produce fast and reliable 3D printed models with different types of filament plastics. By the end of the session, you will have understood the whole production process of a FDM printed piece: from preparing your data, to printing and post producing an object, and you will be able to work independently with a 3D printer.\nAlthough you don’t need to have any previous experience with 3D printing for this workshop, it is important for you to have some basic knowledge about 3D modeling. If you don’t have it, we recommend attending before the Introduction to CAD design with Autodesk Fusion 360 Workshop ( https://www.eventbrite.de/e/338835725777 ).\n\n\n\n\nLearning outcome\nDuring the workshop you will learn how to:\n\nDesign geometries suitable for prototyping with an FDM printer\nUnderstand the difference between SLA and FDM Printers\nPrepare your 3D file using Craftware Pro slicing software\nUse the Craftbot 3D printers\n\nBy the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to present a project of your own to the instructor, and review the plan you have for 3D printing it.\nCompleting this workshop will also grant you access to the Craftbot, Dream Maker and WASP 3D printers at MotionLab.Berlin.\n\n\n\n\nPrerequisites\nFor this course you will need:\n\nA laptop with Craftware Pro software pre installed (You can download the free software HERE)\nA mouse with a scroll wheel\n\nOther materials for the workshop will be provided to you and are included in the price.\nThis workshop is held in English, and in German at specific request.\n\n\n\n\n
