Er wurde 1984 von der f\u00fcr Wirtschaft zust\u00e4ndigen Berliner Senatsverwaltung ins Leben gerufen. War es zun\u00e4chst Ziel, die regionale Wirtschaftsentwicklung Berlins nachhaltig zu stimulieren und den Innovationsgrad zu erh\u00f6hen, wurde der Innovationspreis mit der Deutschen Einheit zu einem Instrument einer vernetzten Entwicklung der Hauptstadtregion. Seit 1992 vergeben die (heutige) Senatsverwaltung f\u00fcr Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe Berlin und das Brandenburger Ministerium f\u00fcr Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Energie den Innovationspreis gemeinsam. Seit 1984 wurden mehr als 4.560 Bewerbungen eingereicht und \u00fcber 180 Preistr\u00e4gerinnen und Preistr\u00e4ger ausgezeichnet. J\u00e4hrlich werden bis zu f\u00fcnf Preistr\u00e4gerinnen und Preistr\u00e4ger geehrt. Die Nominierungen der Finalistinnen und Finalisten sowie Preistr\u00e4gerinnen und Preistr\u00e4ger werden traditionell von einer 23-k\u00f6pfigen unabh\u00e4ngigen Expertenjury vorgenommen. Die Preise sind mit jeweils 15.000 Euro dotiert.        <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ZIELE DES INNOVATIONSPREIS BERLIN BRANDENBURG<\/h3>\n<p> Die F\u00f6rderung, Pr\u00e4sentation und W\u00fcrdigung zukunfts- und marktf\u00e4higer Entwicklungen von Start-ups oder Spin-offs, von Gr\u00fcnderinnen und Gr\u00fcndern, etablierten Unternehmen oder vernetzten Forschungseinrichtungen ist das Ziel des Innovationspreises der Hauptstadtregion. Mit der Weiterentwicklung der Gemeinsamen Innovationsstrategie der beiden L\u00e4nder <a href=\"http:\/\/innobb.de\/de\/innobb-2025-eine-neue-strategie-fuer-neue-zeiten\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"\u2013 innoBB 2025 \u2013 (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\">innoBB 2025<\/a> fokussiert sich der Wettbewerb um die Innovationspreise auf die f\u00fcnf l\u00e4nder\u00fcbergreifenden Cluster, spricht aber auch engagierte Innovatorinnen und Innovatoren in einer gro\u00dfen Breite an, um m\u00f6glichst vielf\u00e4ltige Entwicklungspotenziale zu stimulieren. Ein Kerngedanke des Innovationspreises ist, dass die Innovationen von heute die Arbeitspl\u00e4tze von morgen sind. Als Instrument der Wirtschaftsf\u00f6rderung orientiert sich der Wettbewerb darauf, dass f\u00fcr die Zukunft der Hauptstadtregion eine dynamische Entwicklung in den Zukunftsbranchen ausschlaggebend ist. Deshalb wird der Innovationspreis auch zunehmend zu einer Impuls- und Leistungsplattform der innoBB 2025 weiterentwickelt. Zugleich ist es das Ziel des Innovationspreises Berlin Brandenburg als lebendiger Jahrgangsprozess f\u00fcr engagierte Innovatorinnen und Innovatoren sowie f\u00fcr Innovationsf\u00f6rderer und \u00f6ffentliche Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger eine breit angelegte ergebnisorientierte Netzwerkplattform bereitzustellen. Austausch und gegenseitige Impulse geh\u00f6ren traditionell zum Innovationspreis.
