Transformative Tech Doesn’t Scale Through Zoom Calls

Expanding into international markets unlocks growth, new funding, and strategic partnerships. But turning that opportunity into reality requires more than ambition—it demands local insight, the right expertise, and strong networks on the ground.

At MotionLab.Berlin—a leading innovation hub for transformative tech—we’ve spent years building those networks and supporting startups and scale-ups as they expand internationally. Now we’re bringing that experience together in Deep Tech in Motion, a program designed to help you connect, learn, and grow beyond borders.

Accelerate Your Global Journey with Deep Tech in Motion

At MotionLab.Berlin, we connect hardware makers, climate tech experts, and deep tech pioneers with the right people across countries and continents who are shaping the future of technology. We know that building transformative technologies is challenging—and expanding internationally adds another layer of complexity that can test even the strongest companies.

That’s why we created Deep Tech in Motion: a program designed to help Berlin-based companies turn international expansion into a strategic step rather than a risky leap. It supports startups, scale-ups, and SMEs in building international partnerships, connecting with investors, and exploring new opportunities across Europe’s leading deep tech ecosystems and beyond.

Next Stop: Paris & Amsterdam

Hello Tomorrow Global Summit 2026

Since launching the program last year, we’ve organized two strategic delegation trips, bringing Berlin-based deep tech, industrial/hardtech, and climate tech companies to New York and Japan.

This June, we’re heading to Paris and Amsterdam, with participation in the Hello Tomorrow Summit—one of the world’s leading events for deep tech innovation—as a key highlight of the delegation.

Why Joining Our Delegation to Amsterdam Is Your Next Strategic Move

Hello Tomorrow brings together investors, corporates, research institutions, and startups from around the world, with key focus areas including semiconductors, robotics, defence technologies, climate tech, and industrial innovation. The summit has become a major meeting point for those developing advanced technologies and the investors and industry partners helping bring them to market.

Participants in the Deep Tech in Motion delegation can also apply for Hello Tomorrow’s Investor Day, where selected startups meet leading deep tech and hardtech investors from around the world.

Why New York Makes Sense for Hardware

NYC has become one of the most active hubs for deep tech, climate innovation, and hardtech venture capital, wanting to address urban challenges, from mobility to infrastructure to sustainability. The city offers fertile ground for pilot projects, municipal partnerships, and initial U.S. market entry. The official Tech Week program drops in late April, and we’ll ensure you’re connected to the right people and events.

Why Tech Week Actually Matters
In 2024, New York hosted over 700 events during Tech Week, making it the largest of its kind globally. The week’s decentralized format means we can cut through the noise and target exactly what matters for your specific hardware, whether you’re focused on urban mobility, climate tech, or frontier hardware.

Past Tech Weeks have featured heavyweights like Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, but we’re more interested in getting you face-to-face with the people who can deploy your technology at scale.

This is About Making, Not Talking.
New York is a city actively hunting for solutions to urgent urban challenges. If you’ve built something in micromobility, sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, or urban systems, NYC offers a fertile testing ground for real pilot programs and long-term partnerships.

We’ll connect you directly to the stakeholders—from city agencies with actual budgets to innovation labs with testing capabilities to urban tech networks that can amplify your impact. Our goal can help you secure concrete partnerships that drive your growth.
