Beyond Berlin is MotionLab.Berlin’s international expansion program for startups, SMEs, and research institutions working in deep tech, climate tech, and hardware innovation. As Germany’s official Deep Tech Hub under the Digital Hub Initiative, we help Berlin-based companies break through barriers and connect with global ecosystems to scale internationally and build lasting partnerships.
In 2025, we’ll launch with a delegation trip to the USA (Boston & New York), where selected participants will attend leading tech events, expand their market understanding, as well as meet directly with investors, corporates, and innovation hubs, build strategic networks for scaling, production, and research collaboration.

Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for 7-10 Berlin-based hardtech and deep tech startups or SMEs that:
✔ Your product is ready to scale and has clear international growth potential.
✔ The product falls within the fields of climate tech, robotics, advanced manufacturing, energy, AI, or IoT.
✔ The official company registration is in Berlin.
✔ You are able to cover your flights and accommodation.
