After our last event in November with a packed house at the Berlin Science Week Club night at Säälchen, we’re back to celebrate dancefloor culture with amazing dance music, vibes and scientific insights on why club culture is so important to us! In case you didn’t know: Science of Rave is a new creative party series – an immersive performance in which electronic music and the experience on the dance floor meet with scientific impulses, reflection and feedback from the dancers.

For an entire night, we explore various facets of the clubbing experience together, shedding light on scientific principles at play. Our collective consists of a group of artists, DJs, scientists and science communicators who are actively involved in Berlin club life. Our aim with Science of Rave is to offer as many people as possible a safe space for learning and exchanging ideas about club culture and their own clubbing experience – validating the needs and motivations of clubbers.

Next to scientific impulses on club life and many opportunities for exchange, there will be lots of partying and dancing to bouncy and dynamic fresh dance sounds served by SOR resident Discotopian! MK-MINUS-ULTRA (Radio Dreamwave) is there to deliver the warm-up vibes in the earlier evening.
